Abstract Matching employees to the right opportunities at
Dassault Systemes can be time-consuming for managers
because the data is dispersed between many different sources, meaning that
multiple applications have to be accessed in order to retrieve the necessary
data to make a decision. As a Business Process Consultant intern, I was
tasked to analyze the employees, projects, and sales data and build a tool to
reduce the time that managers spend on those daily decisions so they have
more time to work on more pressing issues. I started out by getting familiar
with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and EXALEAD CloudView.
After analyzing the data from each of the sources on Excel and finding common
attributes between them, I was able to aggregate and process the data using
EXALEAD CloudView. This allowed me to create one
common application containing all of the data to help match 3DS employees to
right opportunities based on their industry scope, certifications, and the
past projects they worked on. By using the EXALEAD PLM Analytics, we were
able to help reveal data to optimize daily decision. This application is used
daily by the BPC Manager and could be extended to be used in other
organizations within Dassault Systemes as well. |
