Finder Web Application" (Group Project Student Defined) Faculty Advisor: Dr. Robert Dimpsey |
Abstract The purpose of this project is to build a real-world
web application that supports posting hotels and display the posted hotel
with actual hotels that exist around the world so people can book the hotel
through the application. Throughout the ten-week development period, we were
able to deliver various features to the following target users, who are a
user is trying to search to book a hotel and write a review based on their
check-out date or cancel the booking based on their check-in date, a user
trying to host a hotel and manage their hotel, and an administrator who can
view a statistical graph that contains cancel booking rates to new post hotel
include city and numbers. Through this project, we had learned how to utilize
various AWS services, API relays, and the fundamentals of web development.
Furthermore, maintaining a live service with the development, daily morning
stand-ups, and applying customer feedback every other two-weeks gave us a
full SCRUM development cycle experience. |
