Abstract

This internship was about using inductive coding to analyze qualitative data that Professor Marc J. Dupuis collected from cybersecurity interviews. Throughout the internship, a coding schema was developed and reworked as more interviews were analyzed. This was done to create qualitative data out of the answers that were given in the interview which can then be used to show how cybersecurity is viewed by the general public. The data gathered from this study can then help developers of cybersecurity services to make the next step forward in their business decisions. The study has not yet concluded.
