Collection App Development" (Group Project - Student Defined) Faculty Advisor: Dr. Wooyoung Kim |
Abstract Business Problem: One of the most important factors
for successful business is to receive the valuable feedback from customers.
Getting feedback is not an easy task. Today, many customers are extra
cautious responding to the surveys due to several reasons. People are busy,
many are reluctant to spend much time on participating the survey process.
People are also concerned about the security issues. They fear their personal
information might be leaked during the survey process. Solution: Our web application targets such users by
letting them respond to the simplified and secured survey process. This
application only requires emails for sending out surveys. Thus, it solves the
problem of having security concerns. This application simplifies the process
of responding to the survey and reduce the time required to take the survey.
Thus, it encourages more users to respond to the survey. In addition, it is
cost-effective. This application costs only $1 to send out 100 surveys. Results: After surveys are sent out via email, user
can use this application to see the survey results. This shows title, subject
of the survey sent and the number of votes for the survey question, and
number of recipients, number of responded, and the date sent. The numbers in
this result gets updated after someone responds to the survey. User can also
manage the surveys by removing a survey in the result list. |
