Abstract

My capstone project is an internship with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Global Financial Services (GFS) team. GFS is comprised of enterprise service managers (ESMs) that serve as customer facing professional services leaders. ESMs build and maintain relationships with Global Financial Services (GFS) customers, act as trusted advisors and develop and execute a long-term Professional Service strategy with the GFS accounts. ESMs shape and structure Professional Service engagements with Partners, Professional Service consultants and product/service teams to respond to customer's need. My role is to work closely with the GFS team to help enhance and operationalize the current Financial Service sales enablement framework with the aim of supporting current and future ESMs to respond to customers effectively and holistically. The strategies implemented to achieve their business outcomes involve cloud adoption and development of customer enablement framework and mechanisms to help ESMs achieve operational excellence. This internship gave me the opportunity to learn about the end to end process of cloud adoption and the various services offered by AWS.
